Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on migrating SAP ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA through the SAP RISE program. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience delivering complex ERP implementations and transformations, managing cross-functional teams, coordinating business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution from planning through post-go-live support.
This role requires a strong understanding of SAP architecture, business processes, cloud transformation strategies, SAP Activate methodology, and proven experience managing ECC to S/4HANA migration programs.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives utilizing the SAP RISE framework.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Drive program governance, steering committee meetings, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Manage multiple workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Technical teams.
Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved.
SAP S/4HANA Migration Management
Lead ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration strategy, planning, execution, and cutover activities.
Coordinate system conversions, greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition approaches.
Oversee readiness assessments, custom code remediation, business process redesign, and system integration activities.
Manage data migration planning, testing, validation, and reconciliation efforts.
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and SAP Activate methodology.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP partners, system integrators, and technical teams.
Facilitate executive-level communication and decision-making regarding project risks and issue resolution.
Manage SAP RISE vendors, consulting partners, and third-party implementation resources.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, compliance, and cloud operations teams.
Risk & Change Management
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
Drive organizational change management, user adoption, training, and communication strategies.
Oversee testing cycles including SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
Lead go-live planning, cutover execution, hypercare support, and project stabilization.
Program Governance
Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
Monitor project KPIs, budget performance, resource utilization, and overall program health.
Ensure compliance with PMO standards, audit requirements, and corporate governance policies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of SAP project management experience.
5+ years leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
Proven experience managing at least one full lifecycle SAP RISE implementation or migration.
Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology.
Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M and geographically distributed teams.
Demonstrated success leading complex ERP transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
