Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and community amenities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in performing residential maintenance repairs.

You will be responsible for completing service requests, preparing vacant units for new residents, and ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of the property.


Key Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency maintenance service requests
• Perform unit turns and prepare apartments for new move-ins
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Replace fixtures, outlets, switches, and light bulbs as needed
• Repair doors, locks, windows, cabinets, and other building components
• Complete painting, drywall, and general carpentry repairs
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and community amenities
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and property staff

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
