Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Shift: Day Shift (8-Hour Shifts)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Sarasota, FL. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Inspect machinery and facility equipment to identify potential failures and maintenance needs.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and related production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability and performance.

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working with motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and production equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in food manufacturing, baking, packaging, or high-volume production environments is a plus.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery and within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Starting Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
