Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment
• 36 scheduled hours per week with the expectation of working up to 40 hours
• Overtime must be approved by the director before any overtime hours are worked
• Patient population includes a wide range of patients
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• Expected patient volume is 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected

Location Highlights

Tyler offers access to East Texas recreation and a regional healthcare hub setting. Tyler State Park is about 15 miles from central Tyler and features a 64-acre lake, hiking trails, and camping options for outdoor time between shifts. For weekend travel, Dallas is about 100 miles west and DFW International Airport is within driving distance for broader regional and national trips.
