Activities Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Cloverdale Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Scottsboro, AL. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a variety of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including recreational, educational, and therapeutic programs Collaborate with the Activities Director to plan and execute special events, outings, and celebrations Conduct individual and group activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and exercises, to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation Assist with the development and implementation of programs designed to enhance physical function, flexibility, and mobility Maintain accurate records of activities, including attendance, participation, and evaluations Participate in monthly staff meetings and provide input on activities and programs Assist with resident transportation and mobility as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends Comfortable working with older adults and individuals with varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities What We Offer: Competitive salary Opportunities for professional growth and development A dynamic and supportive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr US Healthcare Consulting Holdings LLC
