gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Dallas, TX area. Our client is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support quality inspections in a steel fabrication environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabricated parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications
• Document inspection results and nonconformances
• Support the company quality program and AISC certification requirements
• Communicate quality issues to production
• Maintain inspection tools and records

Position Essential Job Functions:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections
• Verify material traceability and documentation
• Inspect welds and coatings to standards
• Support customer and third-party inspections
• Help with corrective actions

Position Skills:

• 1+ years of quality inspection experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
• Ability to read shop drawings and weld symbols
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1; AWS CWI a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
