Are you a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and leads by example? Rock N’ Roll Sushi is looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Back of House Team Leader to help drive our kitchen operations and deliver the quality our guests expect.

As a Back of House Team Leader, you’ll work alongside the kitchen team to ensure every dish is prepared with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. You’ll help train team members, maintain food quality and safety standards, and create a positive, high-performing kitchen culture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, motivate, and support the back-of-house team during every shift.
• Ensure all menu items are prepared according to Rock N’ Roll Sushi recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and speed of service.
• Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance.
• Manage prep production and ensure proper product rotation and inventory control.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house leadership to keep service running smoothly.
• Help reduce food waste while maintaining portion and quality standards.
• Jump into any station as needed to support the team during busy shifts.

Job Requirements

• Previous kitchen leadership or restaurant management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Dependable, organized, and solution-oriented.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
