Material Handler II

Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Material Handler II to join their warehouse operations team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the Warehouse Department supporting Production, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Range: $22 - $24/hr

Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Hours / Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30 am – 4 pm / 8:30 am – 5 pm

What's the Job?

• Receive, inspect, process, and distribute incoming materials, parts, and shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, allocate, label, and ship products accurately and efficiently to support production and customer orders.
• Perform inventory control activities including cycle counts, inventory transactions, product transfers, and discrepancy resolution.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely while following warehouse procedures and safety standards.
• Support production order fulfillment, assist with training team members, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or material handling.
• Experience with inventory management, order processing, cycle counting, and warehouse documentation.
• Strong computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift experience preferred; training available. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
