And that inherent value is carried throughout each team to ensure we're providing the best for our customers.What You'll DoAs a shipping & receiving clerk, you will check in and prepare merchandise to be placed into stock. You will also pull merchandise for prompt accurate shipping to customers/warehouses.There is plenty of growth opportunities within the organization.Prepare merchandise for shipment by packaging, preparing records of goods shipped, filling out bills-of-lading, and invoices, posting weights, verifies accuracy of shipmentsPull materials from stock using forklift and/or palletNotify freight company of outbound shipmentsLoad and unload trucks using forklift/pallet jack and place in proper storage locationsMaintain stock in an orderly and safe manner.Keep work area cleanAssist in prioritizing incoming and outgoing shipmentsPrepare UPS shipmentsAssist in inventory controlLift and move heavy objectsOperate forklift in accordance with OSHA requirementsOperate pallet jack, weight scale, box strapper, staple machine, hand held scanner and computerRoute incoming merchandise and materials to proper departmentsReject damaged goods and follow Company procedures for returnsObserve all safety rules, company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedYour Experiences & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a lean distribution/assembly environment (preferred)This individual may be required to lift up to 75 lbs.Shipping and receiving experience in a distribution environment preferredGood mechanical aptitudeMust have legible handwritingSelf-motivated and work well with other employeesFlexible to effectively adapt to changing conditions and job assignmentBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance, and zero cardLife, death, dismemberment, and dependent insurancesPrescription drug programsTelehealthShort-term and long-term disability, and flexible leaves of absenceEmployee assistance programs401k (match 50% on the first 6% of deferred compensation) and flexible spending plans3 weeks of paid time off9 paid holidaysWellness & EngagementLocation: Yorktown, INDepartment: ManufacturingWork Environment: WarehouseReports To: Kanban/Logistics ManagerShift Type: Monday–Friday (5-8s)Workplace Arrangement: On-siteSupervises: N/ATo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
