Material HandlerThe Material Handler is responsible for maintaining production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished products.Essential FunctionsMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on inspection orders.Maintains in-process inventory at inspection tables by delivering and opening materials and supplies.Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.CompetenciesOrganization SkillsTime ManagementAttention to DetailEffective CommunicationSelf-MotivationAnalysis and EvaluationFollow-ThroughData ManagementSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely uses various machinery including forklifts, manlifts, and chariots.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull and/or lift, climb or balance, kneel and frequently lift to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand actions, including grasping and fine manipulations, is an essential part of the job's physical demands.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
