Experienced Veterinary Technician

???? Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays

All Pet Care is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our full-service small animal hospital in Clearwater. We primarily see dogs and cats, with occasional exotics, rabbits, and pocket pets. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys hands-on patient care and working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Technicians are compensated based on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Restrain patients and assist in exams
• Prepare vaccines and fill medications
• Take radiographs
• Assist in surgical procedures and dental cleanings
• Support anesthesia monitoring and patient care
• Communicate with clients and enter charges accurately
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and patient care standards
• Assist with client callbacks and follow-up communication
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Our Ideal Candidate

• Is a “people person,” friendly, organized, and professional
• Can multi-task while maintaining enthusiasm and exceptional client care
• Has a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary clinic
• Is comfortable staying later than scheduled when needed to help pets or complete callbacks
• Helps maintain a positive culture and work environment
• Takes constructive criticism well and is open to feedback
• Has a strong desire to learn more about veterinary medicine and pet care
• Is open to mentorship and professional development for future growth
• Must be able to work rotating weekend shifts
• Is dependable, adaptable, and calm in a fast-paced environment
• Works well both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds
