Environmental Services Supervisor (EVS)

Position Summary: Griggs County Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to help oversee our Environmental Services team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, staying organized, solving problems, and ensuring residents, families, and staff experience a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll support the Environmental Services Manager by coordinating daily operations, assisting staff, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure regulatory compliance while creating a positive and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support housekeeping and laundry staff. Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are completed. Promote infection prevention and proper PPE use. Monitor quality standards and regulatory compliance. Prepare monthly department schedules. Assist with quality improvement initiatives. Cross-train throughout the facility to provide coverage when needed. Respond to staffing challenges and help ensure essential cleaning services are maintained. Monitor department staffing to provide excellent service while minimizing overtime. Perform housekeeping duties alongside the team Qualifications: - Must be 18 years of age or older - High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous long-term care or healthcare environmental services experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience is a plus. Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
