This position is responsible for analyzing current workflows, identifying process gaps, and configuring and optimizing business systems such as Microsoft Business Central, D365 Sales, Project Ops, Field Ops and Experlogix CPQ. A core focus is driving automation, standardization, and cross-functional efficiency across all sites and departments. This requires proactive engagement with business stakeholders and strong documentation capabilities, such as capturing business requirements, creating fit-gap analyses, and diagramming process flows to support scalable solutions. Job Details Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Type: Direct Hire Work Location: Onsite in Round Rock, TX Essential Job Responsibilities Process Improvement & System Optimization: Partner with business units to analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system-driven improvements. Translate operational needs into scalable solutions—ensuring every workflow aligns with the vision of simplicity, clarity, and growth. Ensure system changes follow governance protocols and standards for documentation, version control, and approval. Requirements Gathering & Documentation Lead discovery sessions with users to capture clear business requirements, pain points, and success metrics. Document current-state vs. future-state process maps, user stories, and functional specifications. Maintain an internal knowledge base of workflows, system customizations, and training materials. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external partners to ensure alignment and continuity across systems. Collaborate with developers, system admins, and MSPs to test and implement enhancements. Work closely with PMO or project leads to support successful rollouts, user adoption, and post-launch support. Support onboarding and system integration for newly acquired or merged entities, aligning them to processes and standards. Support reporting needs and data quality initiatives in collaboration with Data Analysts and Power BI resources. Training & Change Support Act as a change advocate who champions cultural values, simplifying complexity, empowering users, and scaling what works. Be a change agent and assist with the implementation of a formal change management system to support adoption and long-term success. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, ERP/CRM systems, or process improvement roles. Process analysis & optimization – mapping workflows, identifying gaps, and aligning to Company standards. Requirements gathering – documenting business needs and translating them for MSP/system developers. Change leadership – driving user adoption, training, and communication. Data governance – ensuring adherence to golden fields, data quality, and Power BI reporting needs. Cross-system alignment – D365 Sales, Project Ops, CPQ, Power Platform, and integrations beyond BC. M&A onboarding – helping new entities adopt to Company processes and tools. Strong background in business process flow mapping, including documenting current vs. future state and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization. Clear communicator explains systems and solutions without overcomplication. Process-minded, sees connections between departments, not just within them. Organized and accountable, keeps track of priorities, documents thoroughly, and follows through. Collaborative and user-focused, ensures technology works for people, not the other way around. Salary : A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
