Hartford HealthCare offers a Level 1 Trauma Center with advanced MRI technology. MRI Technologist performs MRI exams, selects parameters according to protocols, assists physicians in diagnosis, prepares and positions patients, injects contrast media, and produces cross‑sectional images. Summary The MRI Technologist performs MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols in order to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Tech prepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross‑sectional images of the body.
