BARISTA (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full- and part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Applied Materials, 9700 E Highway 290 Building 32, Austin, TX 78724. Location: Applied Materials – 9700 E Highway 290 Building 32, Austin, TX 78724 Schedule: Full time and part time schedules – Monday to Friday, days, nights and weekends (details provided during interview) Requirement: At least 1 year of barista experience Perks: Uniforms provided, free meals, paid holidays, comprehensive benefits package Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available Pay range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour Responsibilities Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes. Enter orders accurately into the POS device and accept cash and charge payments. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of the service area. Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils. Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards. Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments. Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction. Relay relevant concerns to supervisors. Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines. Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers. Assist customers in buying decisions by establishing good communication and using selling techniques.
