Every day you will oversee security operations, patrol assigned buildings (foot/vehicle), identify violations, investigate incidents, respond to alarms/emergency codes, control hospital access, monitor detection systems, support helistop operations, and de-escalate or physically restrain individuals when necessary, meticulously documenting all actions and observations. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional vigilance, customer service skills, physical capacity for emergency response, and the ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting and applying security guidelines, all while upholding a safe and secure environment.Provides leadership for Security ServicesEnsures delivery of quality services; regulatory compliance, and manages operations efficiently and effectively.Assist with oversight of the campus security and parking enforcementPlans, organizes and directs work assignments. Assists with training of security staff.Ensures that all Security Officers assigned to the shift meet program standards, including uniform and grooming standardsAssists with the implementation and maintenance of security procedures to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.RequiredHigh School Graduate or equivalent; and Six (6) months experience as security officer in a hospital or healthcare setting,, upon hire orPrior law enforcement or military service experience; orDriver's License: NE, upon hire andBasic Life Support - CPR, within 90 DaysPreferredOne year experience as a security officer:(International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) Basic & Advanced courses within 90 days of position appointment.CHI Health Immanuel, located in North Omaha just off of I-680 on 72nd Street, offers a full-service hospital, cancer center, rehabilitation center, specialty spine hospital and more.
