Step into a rewarding role supporting school-aged children by providing high-quality physical therapy in an educational setting. As a contract physical therapist, you’ll enjoy a meaningful, hands-on opportunity, serving a diverse population of preschool and some elementary students. This full-time position offers 30 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 15, 2027, with potential for further extension should an internal candidate not be found.

What you'll bring:

• Valid and active physical therapy license/certification in Massachusetts
• Previous experience working in a school setting (school-based experience required)
• Strong foundation in pediatric and educational-based intervention, ideally with preschool and elementary populations
• Completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting prior to start
• Availability for on-site work throughout the duration of the assignment
• Prioritization will be given to credentialed candidates demonstrating relevant expertise and commitment

Your key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute physical therapy interventions that foster students’ access to learning, mobility, and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop tailored strategies and goals for students
• Conduct evaluations and assessments, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary teams and developing individualized education plans
• Foster a supportive, inclusive environment, promoting each student’s growth and independence
