Emergency Medicine Physician

Locums Emergency Medicine Physician in Illinois - No Call Nights

Emergency Medicine locums opportunity in Illinois near St. Louis with dedicated overnight coverage, no call, and flexible monthly scheduling.

Practice Setting

  • Emergency department with approximately 40,000 annual visits
  • Adult and pediatric patient mix
  • Experienced nurse practitioner support in the ED
  • EPIC charting system

Schedule

  • Overnight shifts from 10pm-8am
  • Minimum 6 shifts per month
  • Ongoing nocturnist coverage needs
  • Single coverage during overnight hours

Cases and Procedures

  • Routine emergency medicine cases
  • Procedural sedation and joint reductions
  • Simple ED procedures
  • Chest tubes and central lines are infrequent

Requirements

  • MD or DO required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Active Illinois license required
  • ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required

Travel Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
