About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. First-time travelers are not accepted. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Epic charting experience is mandatory. Description: We are seeking an experienced registered nurse for our emergency room. The emergency department is a large and busy unit with a high acuity patient population, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, with an average daily census of 165-175 patients. Ideal candidates will have skills in managing a diverse range of emergency situations, including but not limited to: acute psychosis, respiratory infections, and traumatic injuries. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to handle complex patient cases and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to float within the facility and a willingness to work holidays and weekends when required is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams are critical for success in this role. Compliance with all health and safety regulations is required.
