Registered Nurse – NICU

Seattle, WA | Level III/IV NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting, supporting gestational ages as early as 23–24 weeks
• Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional ventilators
• Administer blood and blood products; manage PICC/central lines and syringe pumps
• Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases as needed
• Perform procedures including cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket therapy, and feeding tube management
• Float to sister campuses or alternate units (e.g., Special Care Nursery, Pediatrics/Newborn Nursery) on an occasional basis as unit needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
• Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
• Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience attending high-risk deliveries and supporting neonatal surgical procedures
• Proficiency with a broad range of neonatal equipment including oscillators and high-frequency ventilators
• Comfort working in a high-census, large NICU environment
• Flexibility with block scheduling and multi-campus assignments
