Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across various age groups in a fast-paced emergency setting.Shift Details12-hour Night Shifts48 hours per weekEvery other weekend requiredHolidays as needed, with specific blocks mandated during peak holiday periodsEmergency Room OverviewOur Emergency Room handles over 26,000 patient visits annually and is equipped with 20 newly renovated beds. The department features state-of-the-art monitors and communication devices. We maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to ensure comprehensive patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to patients from infancy through the geriatric stages, adapting care based on the individual's needs.Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and manage IV drips and ventilators as required.Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.Collaborate with pre-hospital and emergency department staff, reinforcing the importance of teamwork in delivering emergency medical services.Quickly adapt to changing and stressful situations while maintaining a high standard of care.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience is required.Prior travel nursing experience of at least 3 months preferred.Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.Must hold a valid RN license in New Hampshire or a compact license.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from an accredited organization is required.Must have reliable transportation and reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.Additional InformationOrientation will be non-billable. Any requested time off must be documented prior to submission and is limited to a maximum of 5 days.
