Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:

Provide specialized cardiovascular care as a traveling Registered Nurse in a busy operating room setting. The role involves supporting surgical teams for orthopedic and trauma procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer preoperative and postoperative patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate seamless performance of orthopedic and trauma surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to all safety standards and protocols during surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment and handle specialized surgical equipment appropriately.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with staff and patients to support optimal surgical experiences.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent OR experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate completion of RNs PeriOp 101 training, with specific expertise in ortho and trauma procedures.
  
  
• 
  Possess current certifications required for perioperative RN roles.
  
  
• 
  Experienced in CVOR procedures or similar cardiovascular surgical environments.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to work 7A-7P shifts, including weekends and on-call as required.
