Inventory Control SupervisorAJM Packaging Corporation, one of America's leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls, and bags, is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team in Joplin, MO.Position Overview:The Inventory Control Supervisor will perform regular and requested cycle counts, ensure inventory accuracy in the database, investigate and report discrepancies, and assist with the placement and organization of materials.Responsibilities & Duties:Help build and improve inventory workflows and SOPs to increase operational efficiency.Collaborate with warehouse operations and other commodity teams to solve problems and improve inventory processes.Manage cycle counts of finished goods, raw materials, and production materials. Confirm quantity and condition of all goods and materials.Accurately record all count information and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.Investigate and report inventory discrepancies promptly, notifying appropriate personnel of any significant variances.Assist in hiring, training, and coaching inventory control associates. Set clear expectations and help the team succeed.Provide assistance as to the placement and organizing of goods and materials.Minimum Requirements:Associate's degree in accounting or logistics preferred, or equivalent education and experience.Must be 18 years of age.Five years or more of high-volume inventory and warehousing work.Must possess strong organizational and administrative skills.Must have at least three years of supervisory/leadership experience.Be able to do data entry at a moderate to high rate.Be able to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.Benefits:At AJM, our comprehensive "Cafeteria Benefits Plan" and "Flexible Spending Arrangement" (FSA), truly sets us apart from the competition.
