Job Title: IT Helpdesk Technologist
Location: Dallas , TX (100% Onsite)

Client: Fortune 50 midstream Oil & Gas Company
Contract Duration: 6–12 Months

Shift Schedule:

· Initial assignment: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

· Future transition opportunity: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

· Rotational after‐hours support required

Role Summary
We are looking for a technically proficient and service‐oriented IT Helpdesk Technologist to join our onsite support team. In this role, you will be the frontline resource for resolving end‐user technical issues, maintaining system reliability, and ensuring a seamless support experience across desktop and point‐of‐sale environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end‐users

· Provide support for Windows‐based workstations and POS (Point of Sale) systems

· Manage incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system; document all interactions thoroughly

· Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) through efficient prioritization and resolution

· Coordinate with third‐party vendors when advanced troubleshooting or on‐site repairs are needed

· Confirm issue resolution with users and ensure customer satisfaction

· Participate in software patch deployment and system monitoring efforts

· Provide after‐hours coverage on a rotating schedule as needed

Required Qualifications

· 2–3 years of hands‐on experience in IT support, with a focus on Windows desktop and POS environments

· Solid understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and fundamental networking concepts (LAN/WAN)

· Proven experience using a ticketing system and consistently meeting SLA targets

· Strong customer service orientation with clear written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to speak Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

· Background supporting POS equipment (such as Radiant, VeriFone, Fiscal, or Passport) in a retail or convenience store setting

· Ability to stay composed and effective in high‐volume, fast‐paced environments
