Machinist

We are hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a climate-controlled machine shop in Todd Mission, TX . Experience machining with Fanuc Controls is preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate CNC lathes ( Doosan and Mori Seiki CNC lathes ) Operate and edit CNC machines using Fanuc controls Set up tooling, workholding, and offsets Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers Machine components to very tight tolerances Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Work with exotic materials Select and work with appropriate carbide tooling REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes Strong Fanuc control experience Strong knowledge of CNC lathe tooling, offsets, and setup Experience machining tight-tolerance precision components Exotic metal machining experience strongly preferred Experience with Inconel or similar difficult-to-machine materials is a plus Experience with Doosan or Mori Seiki CNC lathes is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
