Primary Care Physician (Locum Tenens)

Contract: 60-day assignment Worksite Setting: Outpatient Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

This role emphasizes outpatient care, continuity of care, preventive services, and overall health maintenance. The position requires handling moderately complex to complex medical cases, utilizing independent clinical judgment and in-depth analysis. The Physician operates with minimal supervision and contributes to departmental strategy and patient care improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient medical care to patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical histories and records.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Promote preventive care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
• Ensure continuity of care for assigned patients.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Make independent decisions on moderately complex to complex medical issues.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and care quality improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant clinical experience.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Active DEA License.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the client/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty in Internal Medicine.
• Bilingual – Spanish.
• Demonstrated passion for improving patient care and consumer experiences.
