About the Position
Join our team as a CDL A Driver in Cumberland, RI, with a guaranteed pay of $1700 per week. This position involves heavy-touch freight delivery requiring 6 months of experience with liftgate delivery.
Pay & Schedule
- Guaranteed pay of $1,700 per week
- Monday – Friday schedule (delivery may shift to Tuesday – Saturday)
- Start time between 2 AM and 7 AM
- May require 1 or 2 layovers per week (hotel provided, not tractor)
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Dry and fresh/frozen products
- Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Box Trucks, Reefer Box Trucks
- Handling: Full white glove service required, liftgate deliveries, pallet breakdown
- Training: 60 hours of online computer training and in-field training before operating the truck
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pet food, supplies, treats, toys, supplements, and other products to various locations.
- Handle deliveries with an electric pallet jack and hand cart
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record and comply with all safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
- Prior experience with liftgate delivery
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
