What You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience with a focus on cardiac surgery
• Current RN license valid in your practicing state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred
• Successful completion of an RNFA program highly desired
• Strong computer skills including data entry, software applications, and Windows-based programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with surgical teams and patients
• Knowledge, skills, and judgment to assist surgeons and adapt to evolving clinical situations
• Ability to handle change positively and work efficiently in fast-paced environments

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
• Extensive OR experience, specifically in cardiac or cardiovascular procedures

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 8-hour day shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed
• Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds; standing for extended periods; and performing physical tasks required in patient care
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant healthcare environment, adhering to all regulatory standards
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with industry best practices
