Registered Nurse - PICU

$1836.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading hospital facility. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for critically ill pediatric patients in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Administer advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including IV starts, caths, and hemodynamic monitoring. Conduct procedures such as central line dressing changes, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management with precision and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Document patient care activities accurately in the Cerner documentation system. Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements, including PALs certification. Float to Pediatric and NICU units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care continuity. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with active state licensure. Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Valid PALs certification is required prior to start date. Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric critical care procedures and advanced skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
