[Required]Displays the ability to comprehend, measure, reason, match, problem solve, and exercise judgment under minimal supervision. [Required]Exhibits ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations and handle multiple priorities and projects. [Required]Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form in English with patients, staff, and customers of varied backgrounds in a respectful, effective, and professional manner. [Required]Exercises mature, independent judgment and the ability to handle confidential information within Hospital guidelines and applicable regulations. [Required]Builds and maintains effective, productive teams and appropriate peer relationships to facilitate organizational objectives. [Required]Ability to utilize standard computer related applications, and ability to learn and apply new applications and programs. [Required]Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English. [Required]Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]Ability to provide daily direction to phlebotomists and other support staff. [Required]Up-to-date phlebotomy practice knowledge in order to appropriately evaluate effectiveness and identify factors that may impact desired outcomes. [Required]Ability to maintain records and prepare reports/correspondence related to phlebotomy services. [Required]Ability to address phlebotomy complaints and escalate through established channels, as needed. [Required]Education:Associate [Preferred]High School Grad or Equiv [Required]1+ years of leadership/management experience [Preferred]2+ years of related laboratory experience [Required]3+ years of technical experience [Preferred]Additional Information:Driver's license required for AHL only.Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
