Manager, Clinical Biomarker Operations
Revolution Medicines
Revolution Medicines seeks a Manager of Clinical Biomarker Operations to oversee end-to-end biomarker activities across Phase I–III oncology trials. The role involves managing lab operations, vendor relationships, sample logistics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end biomarker operations including protocol reviews, testing strategies, and sample lifecycle management
- Collaborate with biomarker leads, diagnostics, clinical operations, and data management teams on documentation alignment
- Oversee central lab startup, manual development, and vendor qualification and contracting
- Manage specialty lab relationships including sample logistics, testing alignment, and query resolution
- Support regulatory submissions including companion diagnostics filings and interim analysis reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, medicine, healthcare, or related field
- 7+ years professional experience in clinical research or clinical/diagnostic laboratory settings
- Experience mentoring and leading team members
- Prior biomarker and companion diagnostics operations experience in Phase 1–3 trials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong scientific and business communication with excellent collaboration skills
- Experience with TruTech, SLOPE, LIMS platforms and project management tools
