divh2Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Buckeye, AZ/h2pWe are seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing team providing comprehensive primary health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of the health problems and maintenance of the patients health by means of preventive care and health promotion./ph3Position Responsibilities/h3ulliReports to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)/liliProvide accessible and available health services/liliEducation of and effective communication with those served concerning the diagnosis and treatment of their medical conditions, appropriate preventive measures, and use of the health care system/liliTreatment that is consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnoses/liliAppropriate, accurate and complete electronic medical record entries, in a timely manner/liliAdequate and appropriate transfer of information for continuity of care/liliEvaluate patients in a timely, courteous and professional manner/liliCompletes all required documentation for billing of services provided/liliPromote and demonstrate good customer service to both external and internal customers/liliConsult, refer, and collaborate with other disciplines involved in the delivery of total patient care/liliAdvise management on performance deficiencies of medical auxiliary personnel (incl. M.A.s)/liliAssume the role and duties of other clinical personnel, as necessary/liliRotate call for emergencies in the evening, and on weekends and holidays as assigned/liliAttend continuing medical education (CME) programs (up to 40 CME hours per year) and provide a copy of the course completion certificate to the medical staff services department. Maintain credentialing and privileging in good standing./li/ulh3Essential Skills and Experience/h3ulliGraduate of an accredited medical school program/liliCompletion of an accredited United States Family Practice/Internal Medicine Residency program/liliBoard certified/liliValid Arizona medical license/liliValid DEA certificate/liliCurrent BLS/liliDemonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques/liliAbility to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public/liliBasic business English, spelling and punctuation skills/liliBasic computer efficiency/liliValid AZ drivers license/liliCommitment to our mission, vision, and values/liliCompetency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status/li/ulh3Nonessential Skills and Experience/h3ulliThree (3) years of experience in community health/liliBilingual -English/Spanish/liliElectronic Health Records/li/ul/div
