Delivery Truck Driver - CDL

Job Overview Ferguson is looking for a delivery truck driver to transport materials to customers across our service area. The position requires a valid CDL, a minimum age of 21, and a background check. Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm plus overtime as needed and 1 Saturday per month 7:30 am – 11:30 am. Opportunities for growth and advancement both professionally and financially. Qualifications Must hold a valid CDL. Must be at least 21 years of age. Meet and maintain CDL qualifications and DOT standards and regulations. Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card. Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus. Strong communicator with a customer‑focused approach. Ability to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads. Ability to work overtime as needed. Must adhere to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage. Must wear safety harness capable of supporting 400 lbs. maximum weight. Responsibilities Deliver materials to customers, using pallet jack and two‑wheel dolly to load and unload, ensuring delivery ticket with material. Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests. Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor. Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures. Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
