Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, head and neck, general surgery, and bariatric surgery patients
• Care for patients with complex airway needs including tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience in surgical nursing, including general surgery, bariatric surgery, or head and neck surgery
• Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ENT or head and neck surgical unit
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols for bariatric and general surgery patients
