Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Nurse Practitioner is based in Bangor, Maine. This role involves providing patient care in a specialized surgical and orthopedic setting under the supervision of the Unit Director. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focusing on orthopedic and medical surgical patient needs within a hospital or healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Location: Bangor, Maine
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire; experience in telemedicine or telemetry preferred; team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task; flexible hours.

• Additional Information:
  • Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation available
  • Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will receive a $10/hour decrease in local rate

  • Position is subject to cancellation of up to 3 shifts within a 13-week contract
