Job Summary
Operating Room (First Assistant) - ORFA Location unspecified. This role involves providing surgical assistance in a healthcare facility, supporting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience and prior travel experience, with specific certifications on file at the time of submission.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of experience, current First Assist certification, NBSTA certification (NCCT not accepted), and BLS.
• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Schedule: The schedule includes on-call responsibilities from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., up to twice weekly, and weekend call every 7th weekend from Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 7 a.m.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26. The unit will not accommodate block schedules and staff must be flexible to meet unit needs. No time off is approved from September 19 to October 17 due to Epic Go Live. Scrubs are provided by the hospital. Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is strongly preferred. The age range served is from 2 years to adult. IVS will interview and the manager will extend offers.
