The Role
You will be responsible for a mix of residential and commercial projects, ranging from new construction and mechanical piping to high-end remodels and service repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and troubleshoot plumbing systems in accordance with the Chicago Plumbing Code .
- Review blueprints and building codes to plan and execute optimal work procedures.
- Perform installations for water supply lines, drainage systems, and mechanical piping.
- Provide written cost estimates and communicate professionally with clients.
- Maintain a clean job site (we respect our clients' environments!).
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must hold a valid City of Chicago or State of Illinois Plumber’s License .
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in plumbing construction or service.
- Skills: Ability to read blueprints/schematics and solve complex "vintage vs. modern" plumbing challenges.
- Integrity: Strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a professional demeanor.
