The Opportunity

Identiti is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with a strong focus on Production Control to join our Dothan, Alabama manufacturing operation.

This role is a critical day-to-day partner to our Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams. The Supply Chain Manager will serve as a key point of contact for production-related questions, build-outs, technical needs, and project requests, helping ensure PMs and internal stakeholders have the support they need while keeping the shop floor moving efficiently.

The right person will understand the unique demands of custom signage manufacturing and know how to translate project requirements into practical production solutions. You will be comfortable working directly with the shop floor, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with Engineering, and proactively identifying potential roadblocks before they impact production, quality, cost, or delivery. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where strong communication, sound judgment, and hands-on manufacturing experience are essential.

What You'll Do

Production Control & Planning

• Own day-to-day production planning and production control activities for the Dothan facility.
• Coordinate production priorities, schedules, materials, capacity, and resources to support customer and project deadlines.
• Monitor workflow and proactively identify production constraints, delays, or capacity issues.
• Partner closely with Project Management to translate project requirements into achievable production plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day production questions and requests from PMs and internal stakeholders.
• Intercept, prioritize, and manage incoming PM requests related to production questions, build-outs, technical issues, and special requests, ensuring the appropriate teams are engaged and work moves forward.
• Develop solutions and contingency plans when project scope, materials, schedules, or production requirements change.

Engineering & Technical Support

• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure designs and project requirements are production-ready and aligned with shop capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance on manufacturing processes, materials, fabrication, and production feasibility.
• Utilize hands-on shop floor engineering experience to troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.
• Support first articles, prototypes, build-outs, and new product/project requirements.
• Address both internal and client-facing technical questions as needed.

Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure materials and resources are available to meet production requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen production capacity.
• Collaborate with PMs, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other departments to close operational gaps.
• Build strong working relationships across teams and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment.
• Monitor safety, quality, capacity, cost, and delivery performance through established KPIs.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

• Mentor and support employees while reinforcing signage manufacturing standards and best practices.
• Identify recurring production challenges and implement process improvements.
• Promote clear communication, accountability, and proactive problem-solving throughout the operation.
• Help develop and execute supply chain and production strategies that support business growth.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Direct experience in the sign industry is required .
• Previous experience in signage manufacturing, production control, production planning, or shop floor operations.
• Strong understanding of sign manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Hands-on shop floor engineering or technical manufacturing experience.
• Experience working directly with Project Management and Engineering teams.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and production issues and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing requests.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership and driving issues to resolution.

Preferred

• Familiarity with an ERP/MRP system and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, materials planning, or logistics.
• Experience with first articles, prototypes, and new product/build-out processes.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers, or freight partners.
• Experience working with custom or highly engineered signage.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

Location

• This role is based in Dothan, Alabama, and being on-site every day is strongly preferred due to the hands-on nature of the position and its direct interaction with the manufacturing floor.
• Candidates within a reasonable driving distance of Dothan may also be considered, including those located in areas of Alabama, Georgia, New Orleans, or the Florida Panhandle.
