And the hardest nights for hardworking families.Every dollar dropped into a red kettle helps give local families the Christmases they deserve and the yearlong support they so desperately need.Help us carry the spirit of Christmas throughout the year.The Kiel/New Holstein area Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign in Kiel, and New Holstein.Essential Functions:Coordinate placement and operation of kettle locationsMaintain relationships with kettle site hostsManaging, recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups (social media, ads, emails, letters, phone calls, meetings) and establishing dates, times and locationsContacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing timesContact local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorshipSend letters to local businesses and organizations for match days and bell ringingOrganizing kettle pick-upsManaging campaign website for volunteer sign-upsResponsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers by applicable guidelinesResponsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelinesResponsible for entering daily funds into online SA tracker (to be determined by local Service Rep or BOL Director)Maintaining accurate recordsDrop off and pick up kettlesPromote bell ringing opportunities in the community (social media, newspaper, church bulletins, groups/organizations)Maintain Kettle Equipment – Keep clean and inspect for damageThank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations by email or letter. At end of season letting each location know how much was collected.Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to BOL DirectorComplete end of season paperwork and turn it into BOL DirectorHave all/any information needed on jump driveMinimum Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.Education: High school diploma or equivalent requiredCertifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required.Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales roleThe Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
