AI Solutions Engineer
The AI Solutions Engineer I develops and supports enterprise AI-enabled applications that improve operational efficiency, decision support, and user productivity. Working with senior engineers and business stakeholders, this role translates business requirements into intelligent workflows, conversational applications, and AI-assisted solutions using approved enterprise platforms and Ballad Health data assets.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in applying modern AI technologies to solve real-world healthcare challenges while gaining experience with enterprise AI development, workflow automation, and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Solution Development
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, and conversational solutions using approved enterprise AI platforms.
- Workflow Design
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to understand business processes and design AI-assisted solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
- Solution Testing
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Documentation
- Maintain documentation for solution design, implementation, testing procedures, and operational support.
- Collaboration
- Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Information Technology, and operational teams to ensure AI solutions integrate effectively with enterprise systems and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational experience with SQL and one or more modern programming languages (Python preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments or workflow automation platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
