Financial Systems AnalystWashington, DCJob DescriptionCSCI Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to support a high-visibility national security customer. This role combines financial management expertise, ERP system knowledge, data analysis, customer support, and process improvement to help ensure the organization has the tools, data, and financial information required to accomplish its critical mission. As part of a collaborative team, you will work directly with government personnel to optimize financial operations, strengthen audit readiness, improve reporting capabilities, and support modernization efforts involving GFEBS-SA and related systems.ResponsibilitiesSupport users of GFEBS-SA and related financial management systemsAnalyze, document, and improve business processes, system functionality, and reporting requirementsAssist in developing and maintaining master data structures, including cost centers, work breakdown structures, and related financial elementsCreate and support business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data analysis productsConduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation activities for system updates and enhancementsResearch and resolve financial data discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and system issuesAssist with user training, help desk support, job aids, and change management communicationsGather and document functional requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable recommendationsPartner with government personnel, technical teams, and external stakeholders to improve financial management capabilitiesSupport audit readiness initiatives through process documentation, controls analysis, and compliance effortsPrepare reports, briefings, and recommendations that support informed decision-makingMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experienceTop Secret with SCI Eligibility (or ability to obtain as required)Minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceExperience supporting GFEBS and/or GFEBS-SA environmentsMinimum of 1 year supporting SOF, Sensitive Activities, or similarly complex DoW environmentsKnowledge of financial management processes, ERP systems, business analysis methodologies, and reporting toolsExperience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting system implementationsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesCreativity and adaptability in problem-solvingAbility to work with clients to understand their needsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presencePreferred SkillsAbility to work in a team environment, as well as independentlyStrong customer and vendor relationship skillsDemonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policiesMotivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate valueAbout CSCICSCI is an award-winning information technology and financial management consulting firm founded on one simple philosophy: "Do what is right, always."
