Founding Full Stack Engineer

Founding Full-Stack Engineer San Francisco | $200k-$300k + 0.2-0.5% Equity Most AI startups are building copilots. Our client is building the operating system for the physical economy. Transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and field services; industries responsible for trillions of dollars in economic activity, still powered by emails, spreadsheets, phone calls, and manual coordination. The opportunity isn't creating another AI assistant. It's replacing entire layers of operational work with autonomous agents that can reliably execute real-world business processes. A few reasons engineers are excited about this opportunity: The CEO previously built one of the most successful companies in logistics software, scaling it from startup to $500M+ ARR and a multi-billion-dollar valuation Investors backed the company before there was even a product, based on the strength of the founding team alone $15M in funding already secured with a team of just 10 people Live enterprise customers already running in production Multiple multi-million-dollar customer opportunities currently in progress Opportunity to join early enough that your work genuinely shapes the company The engineering challenge is equally compelling. You'll be helping build AI agents that perform complex operational work across transportation systems, ERPs, CRMs, email, voice, browser workflows, and enterprise software, often across processes that span multiple days rather than a single interaction. We're looking for engineers who: Have 3+ years of full-stack experience (or 2+ years exclusively at venture-backed startups) Have shipped meaningful products end-to-end Enjoy owning problems rather than tickets Are comfortable working across React, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, AWS, and modern AI tooling Use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-native development workflows Want direct exposure to customers and product decisions What makes this role different is the level of ownership. Engineers work directly with customers, understand operational problems firsthand, and ship solutions that quickly make their way into production. There are no long chains of approval, endless planning cycles, or layers of management separating builders from outcomes. If you want to join a company at the point where product-market fit is emerging, customers are live, funding is secured, and the hardest technical challenges are still ahead, this is one of the more compelling opportunities in the market right now.
