Position : Registered Nurse – Intensive/Critical Care (ICU) $$SN$$
Location : Louisville, Kentucky
Shift : Days – 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), every other weekend
Duration : 13 weeks

Job Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments based on patient condition and hospital policies.

• Develop, prioritize, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.

• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge.

• Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient care.

• Manage high-acuity ICU patients, including those requiring CRRT, ECMO, VADs, Impella, IABP, and PA catheters.

• Read telemetry and titrate medications including pressors, amiodarone, dobutamine, and sedation.

• Delegate tasks appropriately, mentor/precept staff, and promote teamwork and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience

• Epic experience required

• Experience in high-acuity critical care preferred
