Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for 4K students Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development Observe, assess, and document each child\'s developmental progress and milestones Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom setting Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators to uphold Goddard School standards and best practices Requirements Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Experience working with preschool or 4K-aged children in a licensed childcare or educational setting Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues Must meet Wisconsin state licensing requirements for lead teacher qualifications CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) About Us The Goddard School of Waunakee is part of the nationally recognized Goddard School franchise, trusted by families for decades to provide premium early childhood education.
