Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | 6-Month Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Iowa (or compact license eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Emergency Room clinical experience required
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or contract nursing experience
• Experience with high-acuity or high-volume emergency department environments
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergency settings
