Immigration Attorney

We are seeking an organized and proactive Associate Attorney to join our growing California-based Immigration and Criminal Defense law firm. The attorney will oversee case strategy and legal compliance, attend hearings, conduct consultations, and supervise case preparation from intake through resolution. Responsibilities Review and supervise immigration and criminal case preparation Conduct legal strategy meetings with staff Attend master calendar hearings, individual hearings, and criminal hearings as needed Review filings, applications, motions, and supporting evidence Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance Ensure assigned cases progress efficiently and remain compliant with internal deadlines and procedures Supervise and train support staff within assigned legal team Maintain accurate case notes and case status updates in CRM systems Qualifications Active California Bar license in good standing Experience in immigration law and removal defense preferred Strong organizational and case management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Performance Expectations Maintain assigned caseload efficiently and professionally Ensure cases become substantially “case ready” within internal preparation timelines Meet internal quality control and compliance standards Maintain timely communication with staff and clients Travel out of the state of California might be needed Work Structure Hybrid/remote-friendly position Flexible hearing attendance depending on court requirements Collaborative team-based workflow Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Whittier, CA 90601 #J-18808-Ljbffr ImmigrationJobs
