Personal Lines Account Manager / CSR
Location: Burlington, NJ
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 + Full Benefits
A well-established independent insurance agency in Burlington, NJ is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager or CSR to join their growing team. This role involves servicing an existing book of personal lines accounts and delivering top-tier service to clients.
We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to upsell or cross-sell where appropriate to enhance coverage and client protection. You’ll work closely with producers to manage renewals, respond to client inquiries, and ensure seamless service from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support a portfolio of personal lines accounts (home, auto, boat, umbrella, etc.)
Provide timely responses to client requests regarding coverage, policy changes, and billing
Identify bundling and upsell opportunities to improve client protection and satisfaction
Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, binders, and new claims
Market and quote new business and account renewals using carrier rating tools
Serve as a liaison between clients, producers, and insurance carriers
Qualifications:
Active NJ Property & Casualty license (required)
3–5 years of personal lines experience in an independent agency setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and industry software
Prior experience with Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360 is strongly preferred
Familiarity with high-net-worth clients is a plus
