We believe in empowering our people to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute beyond their job description to help our team and our clients succeed.What You’ll DoAs a Steel Drafter / Designer, you’ll use advanced CAD software to create detailed fabrication and installation drawings — including bills of materials — for custom steel projects. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and project management to ensure drawings meet company standards and support on-time delivery for our customers.Create accurate fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor.Prepare detailed layouts, schematics, and bills of materials per project requirements.Ensure all drawings meet departmental and company quality standards.Complete drawings within the timeframes established by the Drafting Supervisor to support production schedules.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production staff to resolve design or fabrication issues.Support continuous improvement and contribute ideas for process and quality enhancements.Perform other drafting or design-related tasks as assigned by the Drafting Supervisor or General Manager.What You Need to HaveStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.At least 1+ years experience with Tekla/XSteelFamiliarity with AISC and ASTM specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).Strong reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.What’s in It for YouCompetitive wage (market-based for Oregon).Comprehensive Medical / Dental / Vision / Supplemental Insurance.401(k) plan (non-contributing).Paid Time Off: 80 hours (1st year) increasing to 120 hours (7th year).Paid Holidays: 7 annually.Company-paid AD&D Insurance: $10,000 policy.Next StepsIf you’re detail-driven, passionate about precision, and thrive in a collaborative environment — we’d love to meet you!Call Lauren at View phone number on click.appcast.io or Amber at View phone number on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
