The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience developing and debugging software and algorithms in C/C++ for Linux-based embedded systems, including driver development and integration of sensors, platforms, and interfaces3+ years of experience working with UAS platforms and PX4-based flight controllers2+ years of experience developing autonomy algorithms such as localization and path planning for navigation2+ years of experience leading robotic software development efforts, including requirements specification, design, implementation, integration, planning, tasking, testing, and code reviews1+ years of experience integrating Sensor Fusion and State Estimation algorithms, including Kalman filters, particle filters, SLAM, and VIOKnowledge of ROS2 to develop software for robotic applicationsAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or RoboticsNice If You Have:3+ years of experience with computer vision, such as OpenCV, camera models, and camera calibrations2+ years of experience working with software containerization methods and utilities such as Docker and Docker-composeExperience leading software development efforts following DevOps principles, including Agile, CI/CD, and test-driven development, and using automation tools, including pipelines and runnersExperience briefing DoD leaders and customers, and collecting requirements for defense missionsExperience with Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) for UAS and Open Mission Systems (OMS)Experience with QGroundControlSecret clearanceMaster’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a Robotics field preferred; Doctorate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a Robotics field a plusFAA Small UAS Part 107 Remote Pilot CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
