Business Analyst w/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance

InDev is seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in ensuring successful product delivery through all stages of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will support product owners by eliciting and refining requirements, developers by validating business needs are met, and end-users by supporting production use. Additionally, you will have exposure to project leadership by gathering and reporting on key project data. The Business Analyst will bridge business needs with technical execution by gathering requirements, translating business requirements into user stories with acceptance criterion, and help validate that solutions meet business expectations before release.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements. Document requirements as user stories with acceptance criterion. Develop and execute manual test cases to validate functionality aligns with acceptance criterion. Contribute to program deliverables, including weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and stakeholder briefings. Document release notes and product documentation. Work in a scrum team using the agile method.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or other related discipline. Minimum of three (3) years as a Business Analyst or similar role. Experience working with stakeholders, business users, and technical SMEs to gather and refine requirements. Experience in documenting requirements in user story format. Experience writing functional tests, executing tests, and documenting results. Experience with Agile methodologies. Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. PowerBI). Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance. Clearance: U.S. Citizen; Active DHS clearance or Top Secret DoD Clearance.
